Job Description

UCP Staffing is seeking reliable, hardworking concrete workers to join our construction teams in Saint George, UT. We are looking for individuals across the skill spectrum—from semi-skilled laborers to highly-skilled finishers—who are experienced in all aspects of the concrete process.
Whether you are proficient in site prep, form setting, or high-end finishing, we have projects ranging from residential foundations to commercial slabs that require your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formwork & Prep: Set up and take down forms according to blueprints; ensure subgrade is properly leveled and compacted.
  • Placement: Assist in the pouring, spreading, and leveling of fresh concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds.
  • Finishing: Use hand tools and power trowels to float, edge, and finish surfaces to required specifications (smooth, broom, or stamped).
  • Tool Operation: Safely operate mixers, saws, vibrators, and other specialized concrete equipment.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and UCP compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous professional experience in concrete work (Forming, Pouring, or Finishing).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet for long shifts, and perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
  • Tools: Must have basic personal hand tools and reliable transportation to various job sites in the St. George area.
  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew.
